Information from connected services:
- Bank connections (Basiq): Read-only transaction data to detect subscriptions. We cannot move money or access your login credentials.
- Email connections (Gmail/Outlook): Read-only access to emails containing billing keywords. We cannot send, delete, or modify emails.
How We Use Your Information
- Detect and track your subscriptions
- Provide price hike alerts and ghost subscription detection
- Process payments and manage your account
- Improve our AI classification models
- Send important service notifications
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication via Supabase, and regular security audits. Your bank credentials are never stored by Subshield—they are handled entirely by our certified partner, Basiq.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@subshield.com.au.
