By accessing or using Subshield, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Subshield is a subscription management platform that helps you:

  • Track and manage recurring subscriptions
  • Detect forgotten ("ghost") subscriptions
  • Receive alerts about price changes
  • Access cancellation assistance
  • Set up digital legacy protection (Legacy Vault)

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

  • Free tier: Limited features, no payment required
  • Pro ($9.99/month): Full detection and alerting features
  • Concierge ($19.99/month): Includes negotiation and cancellation services
  • Legacy Vault ($4.99/month add-on): Digital legacy protection

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis.

5. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party providers including:

  • Basiq: For secure bank connections (CDR accredited)
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Google/Microsoft: For email scanning

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

6. Limitations of Service

Subshield provides tools and information to help manage subscriptions, but:

  • We do not guarantee detection of all subscriptions
  • Cancellation success depends on the service provider
  • We are not responsible for charges from services you fail to cancel
  • Financial advice is not provided—consult a professional for financial decisions

7. Legacy Vault

The Legacy Vault feature allows you to designate a trusted contact who can trigger cancellation of your subscriptions. By using this feature:

  • You authorize your trusted contact to act on your behalf
  • A 24-hour cooling-off period applies before any action is taken
  • You can revoke access at any time
  • We maintain a complete audit trail of all actions

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Subshield are owned by us and protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may close your account at any time through settings or by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
